The European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (E.B.A.C.) started its activities in 2001, as an independent joint initiative between

EBAC is one of the Specialty Accreditation Boards of EACCME, the European Accreditation Council for CME, which belongs to UEMS (Union of European Medical Specialst, Brussels), an institution which formally represents European countries.
EBAC works according to the quality standards of the EACCME.
EBAC consists of an Advisory Committee reporting to the European Cardiology Section Foundation (ECSF) and a Reviewing Committee reporting to EBAC GmbH.
