EBAC Attendance Certificates

The ESC Congress has been accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology for 18 hours of external CME Credits
.

EBAC Attendance Certificates can be collected
in the Congress Registration Area
from Monday 30 August 2004 in the afternoon.

EBAC Accredited Educational Programmes

For the first time this year, some educational programmes taking place outside of the ESC Congress 2004 scientific sessions schedule, were accredited by EBAC.

What is an EBAC Accredited Educational Programme?

An EBAC Accredited Educational Programme is organised by a scientific or academic CME Provider and the appointed Course Director is responsible for its scientific content. These programmes are supported by an unrestricted educational grant from a healthcare company.

These educational programmes - like all EBAC accredited programmes - comply with the EBAC policies, guidelines and requirements concerning accreditation of CME events.

Extra CME credits may be collected by attending these EBAC Accredited Educational Programmes (on top of the ESC Congress CME Credits). EBAC Certificates for these specific programmes will be distributed to participants by the programme organiser and not by the ESC.
